The Small Things :: Bedside Tools for Mama + Babe If you co-sleep and/or nurse in bed, I find it helpful to stash the necessities on a bedside table. My nightstand has drawers as well so I can pack a lot in.   Place a beautiful deep baske t on your nightstand and fill it with things like: diapers, wipes, salve (for baby bum or dry skin), tiny nail clippers, burp cloths, a change of clothes for baby, essential oils, etc. My Himalayan salt lamp casts the perfect glow during dark nights.   In my drawers I usually keep a few dry snacks for those late night hunger pangs. I also have a small notepad or journal and pens to jot love notes.   During winter, I typically have an oil diffuser on my nightstand as well and diffuse oils to help clear our passages and sleep peacefully.   Always keep water nearby too! As a bonus, your partner can help with your postpartum elation by graciously restocking this nighttime baby/mama/nursing station.
